DVD OSX86 won´t boot first time (/com.apple.boot.plist not found)
I have the following hardware:
Pentium D 820
Asus P5B-Delux wifi
Samsung DVD Burner Whrite Master
3 Samsung HD with the folowing formatting:
Disk 0 - NTFS - Windows Vista
Disk 1 - 20 GB (active Primary Partition - no letter and no formatting) + 212GB (active Primary Partition - D letter)
Disk 2 - NTFS (NTFS - backup)
I want to isntall Mac OSX86 in the Disk 1 so I can have dual boot with 2 separate drives.
I have the JAS DVD File: Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1 & PPF2].iso burnt to a DVD-R.
When I try to boot from the DVD, I get the following message:
system config file '/com.apple.boot.plist' not found
at his point, I press F8 and enter the boot menu, where there is only one option of HD (I suppose) to enter and also the -V or ? to go to. I think I tried everything.
Dows any one else had this problem?
Can someone have a clue of what is going on?
