Boot Problem: 'Please Restart'
ok, i'm pretty new to this OSX86 scene, but am very keen to try out OS X. After spending Hours getting the actual hard disk to boot after installation i get another error :x . Ok,
I used the iATKOSv1.0r2 DVD Installation Disc,
I Used Disk Utility to Partition the drive for OSX
Then gParted Live CD to flag the drive as Bootable
Then Back to the OSX Installation and installed with Darwin/x86 Boot and Intel v/100 (i think that was the name :P) Ethernet drivers as thats the driver for my Ethernet and as thats how i connect to the internet, i thought that'd be a good idea.
Installation goes all well.
I get stuck on the Grey apple, it comes up for about 5 seconds, then the 'Please Restart' error appears.
I have been trying to find a solution to this... but i am finally getting sick of looking.
i have tried booting with
and -v -x
Both yielding the same results.
Here is a picture of what i get if i try to boot with -v enabled
Finally, My hardware:
Intel Pentium 4 2.53Ghz Processor
Intel i845PE Rev A1 Motherboard (Chipset)
ATI Radeon x1650 Pro
(if you need anything else, just ask)
Ok. Please can somebody help me :P this is really starting to bug me!!!
