iam new to the use om os x om a I386 base system (non) mac..

iam tryning to installe OS X on my laptop, Packardbell EasyNote W3332 and i keep getiing this error System config file ´/com.apple.boot.plist not found when i try to boot from the downloade DVD ( uphuck 10.4.9 " the only one o can finde)
so wath is i doning rong.. i have try installe on my mediacenter system and it did runn the intrier install but dint nee thear so joust resat the susyem...

if som can tell me wath iam doning bad ore if i need a nother disk to installe from.. and ware to get it
