Default Noob... Simple ?'s *maybe* haha

So I just got my 10.5.2 loaded on my AMD build, and I'm very excited to see it working so well (frankly, I expected more issues)!

The 2 main problems I'm having:
1.no sound - using onboard audio for Asus M2N-SLI Deluxe mobo. which according to the Asus site should work with the Azalia kext.

2.My resolution is perfect, but video doesn't work properly.
ex: Youtube video- plays for 1 sec. then stops
ex: Quicktime video- loads then crashes Quicktime only

As an end note, when I booted first I received errors in regards to:

    System/Libraries/Extensions/ ALCinject.kext
    laptopdisplay.kext
    appleazaliaaudio.kext
    nvinjectgo.kext

I have subsequently deleted those files, and receive no more error messages, and OS X still runs smooth (aside from afore mentioned issues).

Need help getting sound and video working properly please! Remember I am quite noobish when it comes to Mac modding.

    Thanks in advance!

** Edit: It would also appear that my ethernet adapter is not working as well... however my wireless adapter is... strange **

1st. I'm sorry about posting in the wrong place, just signed up for these forums.

    2nd. Thanks for the help!!

I am using an EVGA 8800GT 512mb for video.

I have a Dlink Range booster N PCI adapter for my wireless. (works just fine).

The LAN chipset from the website says "Marvell PHY" (not sure if that's what you're looking for).

The website for my mobo. says that "ADI AD1988B" is my audio chipset and I dug up the manual which also says SoundMax ADI AD1988B (not sure if that's what you're looking for).

I tried the NVInstallerV.41.pkg and it installed fine, but upon reboot at the Apple screen I always received an error "You must restart your computer...".

I had to go in through win and use transmac to delete all of the GO... and NVinject.kexts ... now I am stuck with 1024x768 (worse than when I started)!

I would just like to get my video up and running

Also, I will look on the forums but it can't hurt to ask... I installed Ilife & Iwork and neither of them open properly. They install, however when I open the app it just sits there.

Any help would be appreciated Thanks!

ah, you have to change the Info.plist in the NVinject.kext

    Here is the info:
    http://nvinject.free.fr/downloads.php

    Go to this part:
If you want to use NVinject with GeForce 8800GTS/GTX/Ultra, please follow these steps...
Its kinda easy, dont worry 8800 GT works

aja about the iLife and iWork, you need to update them to make them work and thats it

I reinstalled and my res. is back to normal. I am downloading the newest Xcode now, hopefully that will work on the plists and get the video to flow correctly...

I downloaded all of the Ilife & Iwork updates, however I cannot get them to work properly. If, for example, I open up Pages then a grayed out version is displayed (like it is trying to load). But when I click the cursor in the grayed out page and type (which I can't see) then select back and copy, I can paste what I typed in to Text Edit or w/e. It's just as if I can't see that the program has finished loading

It's very strange. Toast does not work for me either... upon opening it just closes immediately.

I'm hoping that all this work will pay off in the end.

It gets hard to design web pages on a 13" macbook screen, and I would much rather prefer my 20" Samsung!!!

I can get my Adobe Creative Suite to install properly, but I need to get the video working, or I cant do any flash editing
