I've done a lota reading about hackintoshes and i'm gonna attempt it on my intel c2d e6750, nforce 680i mobo. Thing is, I heard a lot of these hackintosh isos have problems with SATA devices and give some sort of "waiting for root device" error during booting form the DVD. (both my HD and DVD drive are SATA, running HDs in RAID-0)

Is this going to be a problem or is there already a solution out to this? do i need to go find a PATA dvd drive and harddrive? btw i'm going to be installing the uphuck 10.4.9 because I found a tut for it

no problem with me, worked well, though every machine is different...BIOS etc.. prob worth trying for what ud get out of it
