New to Hackintosh, need some assistance
Alright, right now I'm currently using a Dell that's quickly showing its age. I've also become highly fed up with Windows, and I want a Mac, but don't have the money for Apple hardware, which led me here. So right now I'm saving up money to build a Hackintosh at the start of this summer (Although I'm getting it all planned out now so I know how much to save). I'm fairly new to computer hardware, but I'm learning, so bear with me
What I have in mind is this:
I want to build a hackintosh in a custom case with an external power supply, keeping it as small as possible so it can sit on my desk next to my monitor and reduce the amount of clutter I have. I still want to have a dedicated graphics card, because I do a lot of Photoshop/Painter work. I'm already planning on using an external laptop DVD drive instead of an internal desktop one, again to minimize space, and a 2.5" SATA inside as opposed to a 3.5". I don't play games much, and the ones I do play either have a Mac version or are old enough that they can be efficiently emulated.
Anyway, what I need help with is what components to use to keep this relatively small vision intact. For instance, do they make motherboards that are smaller in size and reasonable good that would still work in an OSx86 machine?
Also, does anyone know if it's possible to make a Hackintosh recognize a Wi-fi card and a Bluetooth card? If so, can anyone show me which ones would work?
Thanks for any help you guys can give me, and I'm sorry I'm such a n00b at this
