    Default My hard disk is not recognized

    Hi. I want to install Mac OS X and i can't see the disk in which i want to make the installation. What i have to do? Thanks in advance.

    Hi, try this: open Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. In Disk Utility, Select your Partition or disk, should choose Mac OS Extended (Journaled). After partitioning, quit Disk Utility to return to the Leopard Installer. Now you should see the disk.

    Also sometimes you have to set the drive to active in the BIOS.

    @icchansan: When in Disk Utility I can only select my dvd-rom drive. It's like i do not a hard disk in my system.
    @redneck: Tell me how to do that.

    What your chipset?

    If OSX doesn't see you HDD maybe you has a incompatible OSX system.
