    Default Leopard blue screen

    Installed leopard and now on re-boot getting a blue screen. Mouse works but no desktop.

    Any ideas?

    if you boot up in single-user mode and goto /var/db you will see a .AppleSetupDone. If you rm that, the setup when you first start your mac will start again and create a new admin user for you, along with the neccessary repairs.
    Alternatively, you can do an archive and install followed by the above.

    I turned my mac off and on again. Problem solved.....
