Leopard 10.5.4

Hey all, Hackintosh newbie here

Well, out of boredom, I decided to try making a hackintosh lol. I downloaded iATKOS 10.5.4, and Ideneb 10.5.5. I burned iATKOS and installed it fine on a clean harddrive, but it kept restarting. So I wiped the other harddrive, and tried again. It, again, installed fine. Though, now it won't attempt to boot into either. The computer is a Compaq s5300nx with all retail parts, except for a Radeon 9250 Graphics card, and improved RAM. Anyone able to offer some help?

Can you post your specs?

Did you try with ideneb?

That's the tower, looks like it. I ran out of DVD's so I didn't burn Ideneb just yet, so no I haven't gotten to try it.

Ok, looks like it will work, whats the error after installation? can you take a photo or post the error?

Update; did you change anything in the BIOS b4 the installation? if you choose vanilla kernel may sure you have executable bit or XD feature, 'Unable'

Well, that's the problem, there is no error. After the installs before I wiped my 2nd harddrive, the system would try and boot Mac and then would immediately restart. Now that I've wiped the 2nd HD, the computer doesn't attempt to boot at all. It just stays on a blank screen with a blinking "_". The installs work fine, which doesn't make sense.

What about your installation? What kernel are you using? if you used vanilla make sure u enable the XD/NX Feature :hack:

Explain your installation procedure and the error or cant help you

Well I'm trying installing again, all I chose from the customization options(besides, of course, installing the iATKOS system and the default bootloader) is the SATA/IDE drivers. Are there some options that I should be choosing I'm not? I'm providing you with as much information as I have, my computer gives me no errors during installation, or on boot up. On boots I get no info, or it says it loads fine tries to boot, and just goes black, then goes to the Compaq screen.
