CoreRAIDServer is a component used by RAID controller.

What disk you unable to mount?

    Hey thanks heaps for helping.

my laptop has two HDD and there is some intel RAID controller. Which I must admit I do not understand. I am pretty sure they are set a RAID 0 which means that I just have two HDD.

both of these internal disks do not mount.

System doesn't boot? I don't understand your real problem.

when in the initial screen of installation - where I have to choose utilities and then format a partition to then install the OS I do not see any drives. I would like to see at least the 15GB that I have partitioned so that I can install it there.

If you not see HDD, has a incompatibility with your chipset. Try use a USB Case to install and see it work.
