I have been running an external drive with Leo and Ubuntu for a month or so now. Today I lost the ability to type on the Leo side of things. What can I do to get the install to recognize my keyboard?

Forgot to mention that I have an Acer Aspire 5920. The keyboard worked fine and reboots do not help.

How do I install a kext? I have a RAR of a ACPIPS2Nub.kext-1052-9C16 that I think might solve my problem. How do I install this?

Move kext to /System/Library/Extensions

Open Terminal and type:

chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/kextname.kext

chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/kextname.kext

rm -rf /System/Library/Extensions.mkext

Reboot and look that it works.
