Hi,

I have succeeded in installing Kalyway_10.5.2_DVD_Intel_Amd V.3, but it hangs on the gray Apple logo forever. Here is what I managed to do:

I burned and ran V 3.0 and it worked fine. I managed to format the IDE drive as HFS+, so I knew my hard drive was recognized. I installed leopard with the sleep kernel (the default one). Everything goes well and the machine reboots. If I reboot without the dvd in, the machine ask for a boot device (is that normal? I thought all the files should have been copied to the hdd at that point...). And if I leave the dvd in, I see the logo and the spinning thing, but it sits there forever.

So, what should I do?

Any help on this? Which kernel should I use and which driver should I use for the graphic card?

When I do the F8 and -v, I get some errors about the firewire and eventually, it gets me back to the installation menu

Any tips?

Finally installed leo4all and it seemed to have worked. I still don't have the proper driver for my card, but I guess that's a smaller problem. Any tips on something compatible with my graphic card? See post below for specs.

Try Leo4All v3. Works better for AMD Systemz.

I got the Leo4All v3, but it is a zip folder, what do i do with the files?

Unzip this file. (duh!)

Looking for .iso file and burn-it.
