Hello,

I have the following problem:

I'm installing the Kalyway version, and I have X3100. The system recognizes it, and it tells me CI is software supported QE is not supported at all. I get the correct resolution 1440 x 900 & 144 MB VRAM.

I do not have AppleIntegratedFrambuffer and I'm using the Natit.kext that came with the installation DVD. I'm using the Vanilla Kernel. I tried using the Paulicat Natit but it doesn't work, after boot I would get the blue screen.

What should I do? Can anyone help me, because right now I can't use Photoshop or PhoneBooth or iPhoto, or almost anything else.

i have x3100 also and i'm using leo4all v3 and it works fine!

Thanx, i'm downloading Leo4All v3, but I got my X3100 working fine today, by mistake, relaly.

I installed leo graphics update, and then i deleted the gma950 kexts, and that was it. Full 1440x900 with QE/CI

My built-in camera is not working, so I'm going to read more about that to get it working.

How did you guys exactly install OS X with X3100? I have a Toshiba protege m700 with X3100. The install goes fine and it boots up; however, after the grey apple logo screen my graphics are just scrambled. I'm assuming the graphic drivers that are install are the wrong ones. How do i change them to the correct one that work the X3100. Thank for the help.

I changed them in the customize option from the Kalyway DVD. There is a section, graphics drivers, divided into ATI, Nvidia and INtel, you go into Intel and choose X3100. Don't expect it to have QE/CI working correctly fromt eh first time. Mine took me days to figure out a solution.

If you need more help, let me know, though i'm just a newbie in this.

I'm still getting the same problem. I reinstalled kalyway 10.5.2 and only selected gma3100 for graphic drivers. Is there a way to check/change the graphic drivers via f8 -s or booting to the DVD then entering the terminal?

i think kalyway still have problems with x3100

Try connect at IRC (irc.osx86.hu) and looking for gfx rooms. There had a download of new kexts for GMA 950/x3100
