So on the x1300 installer, should I uncheck the Original 10.4.9 ATi kexts?

When I install only the natitx1300, my DVI stops working, and I get a blue screen with my cursor.. I deleted the kexts via single user though, but this doesn't work

The funny thing is that in System Profiler it says that my Core Image is Hardware Accelerated and QE is Enabled with the kexts from the 10.5.2 Kalyway DVD, but it really isn't the mouse leaves artifacts from the web browser every time I scroll, and I can't change my resolution. When I update to 10.5.4, DVI gets a black screen with the kexts, and VGA gets a a pink screens with vertical lines going through.

I guess I will.
Everything works besides my video card.
Isn't the HCL outdated though?
What do you suggest for an AGP card?
Should I switch over to Nvidia? People seem to have more success than with ATi.

Looked around and my two choices are:
ATi: HD 3650/3850
Nvidia: 7600GS
