Default [Kalyway 10.5.1] Still waiting for root device and FireWire ERROR

Ok, installation loads all of the files correctly, but never gets to the Installer.

The white text scrolls then this shows up

    Code:
ERROR: FireWire unable to determine security-mode; defaulting to full-secure.
    Still waiting for root device
The Still waiting for root device keeps adding another line with that until I turn it off.

    I have a Toshiba Satellite A75
    448MB RAM
    100GB Hard Drive
    Intel SSE3 Processor
ATi 64MB Mobility Radeon 9100 IGP

    Full Specs Here: http://www.bizrate.com/laptopcompute....html#features

Please help I am very excited about this.

    Thanks,
    DJ McG

if i knew i would help....but it seems that the staff and members really only create threads and then leave them at 0 replys, seems there is a reasonably high lack of knowledge in this forum and help
