Hi urip, Maybe your partition its not active
Boot into the DVD, Press F8 at Darwin Boot Loader and type -s and press enter.
Now type:
fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (your number may vary)
update
flag 1 ('1' being the partition number in my case)
w
q
reboot
That should set your partition active and you should be able to boot okay.
In the Bios, did change your SATA controller to AHCI?
in Darwin Boot Loader you mean this options screen at startup? well I tried to type it there as you told but it says it doesn't have a fdisc command.
Tried through the terminal too, still doesn't recognize the command. If you mean somekind of an utillity, this installation DVD doesn't have it.
And I couldn't find "SATA Controller" or anything like it in the BIOS..
Regarding the other computer... any idea why it detects the "Ethernet PXE Client" volume but doesn't detect the "JaS OsX86 10.5.4 Client / Server Intel SSE2 SSE3" volume like the second computer?
It must be connected to the error message I get...
