Exclamation iDeneb 10.5.5 with Intel DG33FB

    Here is my system Config:

    Motherboard: Intel DG33FB
    Processor: Intel Core 2 Q6600 2.4Ghz
    Memory: 4GB
    HDD: IDE 80GB

    Wireless: TPLink Wireless card (PCI)

    Drive Config:-
    ATA/IDE Mode: <Native>
    Configure STAT as: <IDE>
    SMART: <Enable>
    HDD Disk Pre-Delay: [0]

    Video Config:-
    DVMT Mode: <DVMT>
    IGD DVMT Memory: <128MB>
    IGD Aperture size: <256MB>
Primary Video Adaptor: <Auto> (using integrated Intel 3100)

    Chipset Config:-
    PCI Latency timer: <32>
    HPET: <Disable>

    USB Config:-
    USB ports: <Enable>
    USB Legacy: <Enable>

    Power:-
    ACPI suspend state: <S3 state>
    EIST: <Enable>

    The Problem

Now, I am trying to install 10.5.5 by iDeneb. I booted the system using the DVD, after the installation crosses the Darwin initiation. When the Apple logo comes up on the screen the system freezes and does not proceed anywhere else, I have to restart the system.
When I try the Vorbes mode this is the place where the installation gets stuck:
    Waiting on <dict ID=”0”><key>IOProviderClass</key><string ID=”1”>IOResources</string><key>IOResourceMatch</key><string ID=”2”>boot-uuid-media</string></dict>
Please help me with this; it seems that there is some problem with my HDD configuration. And yes, I have Vista already installed in one partition. Any help will be appreciated.

Default Installed with Nvidia Graphic card

I have moved forward now, I noticed that after that UUID that the system was waiting for the next item to load was for Graphics.
After going through some threads I noticed that most of the users preferred Nvidia graphic card compared to others, thankfully I had one spare Nvidia graphic card.
I inserted Nvidia GeForce 7300GS graphic card and started with installation. And valla the installation started at once without trouble.
After I finished installing the system with the required patches and other stuff when I restarted the system I get a windows with an Apple and simble showing cirle with "\" mark.
In vorbes mode I found that the system does not move beyond the following step:
    USBF: 0.547 acquire OS ownership done-value 0x1000001
    still waiting...
Can anybody help me from here atleast?

    Thumbs up Successful Install

I have finally succeeded in installing. I had to select the driver for VIA-SB and thats all.

I am still unable to make the audio work although the wireless internet started working out of box.

One more thing that I noticed was that the keyboard is not completely supported.

I will get back with the solution soon.

    Default Audio working no wireless

Sorry for the delay, this what I did:

I reinstalled the Software with audio drivers ALC888 and ALC889 (I don't know which one did the trick). After rebooting the system I found that the Audio is working but the Wireless device is not detected.

I have reinstalled the software for more than 20 times by selecting different configuration but somehow I am unable to make the wireless work as it did the first time.

I have TPLink wireless card which supports (i guess) Atheros drivers. Intel chipset Mobo and yes my Mouse and Keyboard is PS2.

Default Success at last with minor issues

I tried reinstalling the software once again with the following patch:

    Audio: ACL888, ACL889
Networ>>Wireless: Atheros wireless card (mine is Atheros communication inc Ar2413[168c:001a])
    Chipset: VIA-SB
    Fixes: All except "Disable Firewire".
Kernel: Did not choose anything in specific (so i guess that it is 9.5)
Video: NvidiaGo (as I have installed Geforce 7300GS in PCIe slot)

I was able to get the internet connected and was able to play audio without any trouble.

    No Video in movies:
But still there are some problems, I am unable to play DVDs, I tried the DVD player which comes with the package and it throwed an error saying "some internal thing failed to initialize".

I am able to play the DVDs using VLC Player (downloaded the latest version) but the video does not appear.

The QuickTime player plays some of the videos "3gp" but other application only play the backgound audio.

    WebCam:
Although all the USB ports work fine the Webcam does not seem to be working. When I ran "OS86x tool" I find that this device is getting detected but somehow i am unable to install it.

All the other things work fine (till now).
