It's maybe caused by a wrong bootsector or bad partition format (I remember same cases of this problem on a JaS beta 10.4.6 DVD)

Btw, now older fixes doesn't solve more.

-> Try format entire HDD (don't use partitions) on Windows XP Installation, choose to format entire HDD and choose a FAT32 quick format, on end format reset your PC.

Start with your prefereed OSX DVD, and re-format your HDD (don't delete partition, only a quick-formtat).

    Continue normal installation.

In some cases, this process can work...in others no.

    Goodluck to all,

    (I'm studing other methods now)

Thanks for your Help.. I really appericiate it !

Before installation, I had formatted the HD in NTFS and the installation volume with FAT32 but the problem is that it did not boot from the DVD at all !!

    Hi,

You had formatted entire HDD in NTFS? If yes, is incompatible with OSX.

You try install in entire HDD with just have one partition?

This is a fresh formated HDD or have some Windows in NTFS partition?

    Finally done with downloading Kalyway

Now there is a RAR file
On unrar, there are two folders, _MACOSX and KALYWAY LEO 10.5.1 SSE2_SSE3

Both have the same files except the file names in MACOSX folder starts with ._<filename>

When I open the folder KALYWAY LEO 10.5.1 SSE2_SSE3
There is an iso, when I burn it, I get errors such as Power calibration failed!

I can burn DVDs perfectly. H=Just burned iATKOS and Leo4All but this one doesnt burn. What is the problem ?

    Hi,

First, to install OSX there I recommend to you erase entire HDD, for dualboot work good, without this, OSX don't boot up.

Second, try burn using a PowerISO on Windows, choosin' 2x or 4x to burn.

    Goodluck, post back results.

Bad luck man.. Didnt work !
Even tried with Kalyway (After burning with Power ISO).

I guess its a problem with my laptop...

Anyways, I believe in "Never give up "

So, I have setup my Vista SP1 Laptop now and have installed VMWare Workstation 6.0

    Status:

iATKOS - The blue background loads and then the language window never comes....

Kalyway - I guess its use less !

Leo4All (v2) - Boots up, Loads the Select language window and then the cursor keeps going round, (busy) and nothing happens).

I guess I can install Leo4All with your help !

So, please tell me how do I continue with the installation, because now there is no booting problem and the language dialog also appears with Leo4All. So should not take much time to start Leopard on my Laptop with your help...

NOTE: I dont want those ready-made Leopard VMware images as they have apps and useraccounts and files in them. I want to create my fresh copy !

    Right,

#1 - You try install OSX on physical HDD or in Vmware?

#2 - Your problems is related to Intel 915 chipset.
