Default how to copy leopard dvd?

    hi there,

i had purchased a family pack leopard dvd and i would like to backup to a double layer dvd.
i used toast titanium 8 and just clicked copy dvd, it went well, but when i try to install with the copied one, i had a problem during the installation of leopard. in the first base it checks for any faults in dvd and it says there is a problem with the dvd you should clean and retry or something like this.
    what is your suggestion?

edit: it gives the error like in %50 o i thought it might be about the second layer (?)

    Wink

    One method

    1. Using Disk Utilities Make a of the original "Disk Image" (.dmg)
    2. Restore Image to a FireWire partition

    To make a DVD

    Using "Disk Utility

    1. Make a disk Image of the original
    2. Burn the Disk Image to a DVD but this method will only work if you have a duel layer reader and burner eh

I Used a sparsed DVD image, all the non essential files removed i.e. all language files other than English etc this Image was only 4.21 Gig and the DVD ended up just over 5 Gig as opposed to over 7.5 Gig.

Don't ask me how to make the sparsed image as I found it somewhere.
