    Default Hot CPU

Hi all and thanks for all the work.

I installed Uphuck's 1.3 and everything works great but Core Duo Temp proggy is reporting temperature of 70 C and CPU speed 2.17 GHz
when idle. My CPU is Core Duo T2250 @ 1.73 GHz which is recognized correctly by OS X (About this Mac). Computer is laptop Asus F3Jc

    I tried: - all universal + 2 sse3 kernels
    - CPU throttler
    - to remove thermal kexts
    - to set fsb speed at boot + x86pc

    None of the above works.
    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance!

I figured OS X somehow sets FSB speed to 166(167) MHz instead of 133.

    167 * 13 = 2171 MHz
    133 * 13 = 1729 MHz

Since setting FSB speed at boot doesn't work, I was wondering if there's another way to set FSB speed?

Thanks to guys from #hackint0sh, I found out that CPU runs on native frequency and FSB speed. Though, it's still much hotter then in windows....

    dont trust the temp proggy
i use the hardware monitor and under load (working with logic pro) the proggy shows a temp at 70 C,
but when i restart the machine and go to hardware monitor in bios the temp shows 40 C.
i think hardware monitor on macs have a differend calculator so the temp is showing always higher then in bios or windows

    I noticed that. Anyway...
I just installed 8.10.1 kernel and it seem a bit better now. I can't get cpu throttler to work
so CPU is runnin at full speed all the time but thats ok I guess. Will see how it goes...
