help needed on gx280 install
hey guys, I desperatley need some help with my kalyway 10.5.1 install. At boot up I type in -v and it runs through diagnostics and after a while it gets to the install screen. I customize options to efi_guid and hit install. while installing when it says that there is about 18 minuets left, my monitor goes black and flashes "cannot read this video mode". although this happens, I can still hear my disk processing a bit. the the disk goes quiet and the computer sorta just idles, while my screen is black. I had brazilmac on here before but I screwed it up trying to update so now I'm trying to use kalyway. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.
The GX280 is the slim clam one and it is completley stock. Only things I added are 750gb hd (IDE with SATA adapter), a network card that worked with my prior osx install, and some RAM.
Thanks alot guys

In my humble opinion, iAtkos 4i - which is 10.5.4 worked better with NVidia cards. Of all the distros, only iAtkos 4i correctly loaded my 8500 driver and resolutions. Of course, I installed additional NVidia driver package to enable HDMI port on the 8500 card, but natively, iAtkos 4i is best for NVidia cards.
Having said that, how do you know what's causing the problem?
