    Default HD Problem

    Hi
    I¨ve being traying to install OSx14.4.4,OSx14.4.6 and OSx14.4.8 but my hard drives do not apear during the instalation and in the bios neither.They are ATA but goes into contoller.
    Any idea,Thanks a lot

    You will probably need to do a VM Ware install. Or install to a small hard drive and copy over after fixing your hard drive issues. Apple generic ATA cant see large hard drives or sata.

    Are you stating that my osx installation into a 250gb partition of a SATA drive is an illusion? btw, no vmware or cloning tricks. >_>

    Just repeating what I was told about applegenericata. I would guess sata uses some other kext though. I could not get it to work until someone figured out how to hack viaata. Glad it works for you.
