Default [Hackintosh Support] Booting up CD error....

    Hi,

I have been trying to get Leopard to dual boot for a while now.
It failed every time but now i have a new computer. (Here and Here)

I am using iAtkos v1.0 but when i boot the CD it gets stuck at...

    Code:

"appleACPIPlatform” has immediate dependencies on both com.apple.kernel and com.apple.kpi
    components: use only one style
    I've tried the commands -v,-x,-y,-f and cpus=1

It's got an intel core 2 duo processor and 3GB Ram.

I have searched on google but i just find thread similar to mine asking for help and i've been unable to find a solution.

Oh, I have also tried using iAtkos r2 or something and also kalyway didn't work either

    Thanks,

    TJ2K7

    Hi,

Try change ACPI mode on bios to S3 or S1

If not solve, you need other version.

I recommend to you: ToH RC2, Leo4All and some latest Kalyway iso.

    Goodluck,

    Hey

See in your bios in Sleep modes (i think), it's on confgurated to S% (0...5), try change that. If you have doubts, posts bios pics here, i will help you.

In this case, some Kalyway distributions haveing kernel = processors incompatibilities. I recommend to you grab a ToH RC2 in "usual torrents places".

You have a Core 2 processor, if you have a Intel chipset in mainboard, it will run fine

    Thanks for helping me,
I asked on the leopard IRC and they just said "if your new to computers then we are not helping you"

Will i have to use a camera, as how do i take pics of my BIOS menu ?

    Thanks again,
    (thumbs up for you)

Also, is this the correct file name: MacOS X 10.5 9a581 by ToH RC2 OR Mac OS X 10 5 Leopard ToH -RC2 SSE3 SSE2 Intel Only

    Who said so in irc?

Yes, if you are in doubt of the options bios, look for the option that power management and sleep mode, take a picture of the internal options there.

And, what model of your mainboard and chipset??

(thanx for thumb-up, I am here to try to give my best and help in the hackint0sh area)

Keep going to solve your problem :hack:

    Pm-me with names.

Well, try change, After AC Power Failure to [Auto] and find for ACPI mode or smth similar. S3, S5 or S0 will be avaiable on there.
