nForce be a complicated chipset...but in Leo4All or in Zephyroth can work!

Yeah, but you need modified AC97 for audio and think some IONetworkingFamily.kext for network.
Install easy and fine using Zephyroth and Leo4All.

so, if I understand you correctly, the VIA chipset is better. Im a long time nvidia chipsets users and this comes as a surprise, but if you say VIA is better I can go this way, mobos are around the same price.

hm... if you have a Intel config (processor + chipset) is very good, because you can run all orginal components.
In this case, VIA chipset is good too, because haveing good compatibiliy with Darwin.
btw, try install, i think run fine there.
