Default [Hackint0sh Support] Will Leopard work on my System?

    Hello Guys.
I would like to install Mac on my PC.
    My PC:
    • Processor: Intel Q6600
    • Mainboard: MSI P35 Neo-F
    • Graphiccard: MSI GeForce NX8600GTS

Is it possible that I can install MacOSX on this system?

    Greets DarkNeZz

    PS:
I didn't found anything with the board search.
If there is a thread already, I'm sorry.

You should have a fairly good chance of getting it to work, the P35 Neo-F isn't listed on the OSX86Project wiki but lots of other boards based on the intel P35 chipset are and seem to be very compatible (able to run without patching the kernel which is a good thing).

    Thank you for your answer.
I tried a lot of different version to get it run, but no good result.
Sometimes it stopps when it tried to load the EFI loader and sometimes the Apple screen appeared, but load.....and load....and load.
Does anybody know a solution for my "lttle" problem?

    Hi,

you can look at the HCL (hardware compatibility list) for your board (klick here).
I use a MSI P965 Neo without any problems

Well....shuflie said two posts before, that it should work with my board because the same chipset works on other systems too.
So it should work with my system too.

    I tried nearly every release.
iAtkos, Kalyway, Leo4All, Leo Flat Image.......
But i've never seen any install menu.
When i boot with the Flat Image or iAtkos the Apple appears and it is loading....and loading....and loading.
With Kalyway i get this error:
    "...../com.apple.boot.plist" not found.
    Can anybody help me?

Personally I used Kalyway but on an ASRock motherboard. Someone over on insanelymac was having the the same error you are getting with Kalway and got around it by using the BIOS boot selection menu to delay the boot and allow the DVD to spin up properly. On my motherboard I need to press F11 to do this but yours may be different. Other than that the best advice seems to revolve around the way the DVD is burnt and what sort of drive you have. You might be able to get better advice over at Insanelymac as the MAC hacking community there is more active and you may find someone with the same problems you've been having.
