Default [Hackint0sh Support] Problem installing OSX86

Hey im installing MacOSX for the first time and haveing trouble. I have a del XPS M1330. I followed this
tutorial on how to install, i can install mac but when i try to boot mac for the first time after install i get the error 0b Error.

I started in windows and made a vole with 68GB for mac. I then made it active in cmp. i then installed mac customized with the 2 vanilla kernals and multiboot with guid drivers. Im not sure if this is right, i wasnt sure what drivers to install.

Theres a list of drivers i installed, is there anything i missed?

    thanks

    Hi,

What version do you used? (builder/number)

When you format partition, you choose a MBR or GPT format? You need choose same patch of your partition created.

When you format partition, choopse "Options" and mark partition as MBR (Master Boot Record), and in patches to install mark a bootfix for MBR too.

    Goodluck

Thank you, i will try this right away. I have my laptop here now booting mac setup DVD. Does this make a difference if im trying to dualboot Vista and Mac?

Ive just checked and both my Vista and Mac partition are both MBR. So ill select that with customized install this time. Another question, is it correct to select both of the vanilla kernels? As on a tutorial ive seen they were skipped during installation. and is it correct to select SSE2_system? I know my cpu suuports SSE2 but it also supports SSE3, so should i just leave it or tick it?

    Thanks

I think yes. For Vista dualbooted is required some experience with bootloaders, bootmanagers and partitions schemes.

I recommend to you try install only OSX and know details on process, and after it grab some bootmanager and try dualboot.

    Goodluck,

The installation worked this time and Mac starts up, but when it gets the the load screen it hangs and does nothing. The mouse and loader icon repeatadly come up, but nothing loads?

Anybody know my problem? do i have incompatible hardware?

Post description detailed of your hardware. (Processor/Mobo/Chipset/HD,DVD connections/VideoCard/AudioCard/NetworkCard).

If you can, post a picture of error.

In case, try power-up PC, press F8, and in prompt type "-v" (without quotes) and post a picture of error in verbose mode (-v).

Graphical mode don't help in anything, post a picture using verbose mode to try get some help.
