i have tried to set up osx86 on a hp dc7800 using a known good dvd of 5.1 The hp starts and boots darwin the system hangs after a few seconds.

I removed the HD and put it into another machine that I know Runs osx86 and I installed leopard to it. Then I put the HD back into the HP7800 Crossed my fingers and turned it on. The hp started went to boot screen (gray with apple logo) and froze agan.
Does any one have any ideas?

Post detailed lappy config.

Post what version of OSX86 you have, "5.1" isn't a valid version.

Try this: Startup lappy, pressing F8, when see Darwin's prompt type: -v

Post back picture of that error to we can try help you.
