[Hackint0sh Support] No Internet Connection
Hi Guys.
I have a big problem. My PC (Mac) don't want to go online. =(
I installed Kalyway 1.5.2 on it and everything works fine.
When I now connect my LAN cable from the router to my Mac, it gives me an IP Address.
This IP Address is like: "169.254.x.x"
My router has got: "192.168.178.x"
So my router don't give any permission to my Mac to go online. =(
When I use a manually IP Address and set the router IP as it should be, it just can't go online.
I hope anybody out there can help me.

PS:
Sorry for my bad english. Nevertheless I hope you can understand it.

Try replace your IONetworkingFamily.kext on /System/Library/Extensions
Fix permissions on kext:
[on terminal in sudo, type:]
chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext
chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/IONetworkingFamily.kext
Reboot PC.
Goodluck,

I get operation not permitted. =(
Sorry but I'm quite very new on using the Mac Terminal.
I don't really understand what you mean with "on terminal in sudo". =(
I'm not really sure that I have a "new" .kext because I replaced it with a backup.
I hope there is a way to get the internet running on my "big" Mac.
Without internet it is nearly impossible for me to life.

Do you mean this?

It's an OnBoard Card.

Yes, you need "modified" version of IONetworkingFamily.kext to solve this. You can grab it on Google, or pm-me for direct link.
After replace-it, repair chown and chmod on ..kext
Cheers,
