[Hackint0sh support] Leo 10.5 on hp dv5122
Hi;
I have installed leopard 10.5 on my hp pavilion dv5122ea (Intel) laptop, I followed the instruction on this page http://blogulate.com/content/install...guide-torrent/
Everything went fine during the installation, and the system booted into Leopard, but after the welcome Video and before entring the user information ( Location, password ... ) the laptop goes to standby, and when I press the power button I get a black screen and nothing happens. I tried restarting several time but the same thing happen, afetr the welcome video the laptop goes to Standby.
I even tried reinstalling the os but the same thing happened.
Did this happen with anyone before? does anyone know how to fix it?
Thanks

Btw, I recommend to you install Leo4All v3. Believe that work fine for you.

Hi ;
Thanks for the reply, I tried the Leo4all v3 and got the same problem, the laptop enters sleep/Standby after the welcome video, i tried the account loop fix and I managed to log in Leopard but also after few seconds the laptop entered sleep.
After that I downloaded the Kalyway 10.5.3 dvd and Installed it with the sleep kernel and used the account loop fix to by pass creating a user , the laptop also entered sleep, the new thing is that when I press the power button it comes back, so I kept powering it on and trying to change the energy saving options and managed to make everything never, and I noticed that it says that the battery is 100% charged , but the laptop kept entering sleep mode .
Is there a way to disable sleep, or at least check why it is doing that?
Thanks
Khaled

Try use lappy connect on power cables. Use platform=X86PC -x -v for boot
