Default [Hackint0sh Support] How can i see what Kernel i have installed??

    Hello,

How can i see what Kernel i have installed ???

I had the option to choose multiple(kallyway dvd), and on my system lan works,
and on my friends system (same motherboard) lan doesnt work (so i installed a different Kernel there.

so i like to figure out what i have installed at home, so where can i see if i installed the vanilla kernel or another kernel?????

    thanks in advance.

Open a Terminal (in /Utilities) and type:

    Code:
    uname -a

If a Vanilla kernel it show "root:xnu" if not, let appear builder name like a "ToH:xnu" or other name/group.

The best way to know "what kernel i'm running" is download some kernel that you know. On IRC room #10.5 have some for downloads.

Agree with f41qu3, you can also check their size or MD5 signature.
