I thought it was not safe to delete it. Maybe I should delete it, and that way the mobo will control the temp of the laptop... without the software interfering.
Am i right in thinking this?

    Yes, not safe.

Try it for own risk. For me, works fine.

Backup files to try restore it.

hehehe yes, i reinstalled again yesterday, and fixed stuff to get hack to read temp. ts 74. I deleted applesmc.kext and restarted and now I have on the boot screen, the spining wheel freezes, but the mouse pointer shows and I can move the mouse, and i listen to the login sound. So my computer logs in, but I cant see it on the screen.
Do you know how to fix this?

Boot with F8 and type -S

    Before type:

    cp -R /path to backup folder/AppleSMC.kext /System/Library/Extensions/
    chown -R root:wheel /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext
    chmod -R 755 /System/Library/Extensions/AppleSMC.kext
    reboot

Need to work like a previous state.

    Goodluck,
