Hey guys, i'm trying to boot Slax 6.0.2 from my usb flash drive on a macbook pro.
I've transfered all the files over, and now i have to make the device bootable.
I've tried using the "bootinst.bat" under windows, and it seems to work, but the USB drive doesn't show up when i hold "alt/option" after the apple chime.
The Slax website also said that the drive can be made bootable under linux, so i took the "bootinst.sh" file it came with, renamed it "bootinst.command" and made it executable using the terminal command "chmod +x". When i run this file off the usb drive in finder, it gives me this output in a Terminal window... "
Please help me guys. I really want to be able to boot into Linux on my mac off an external USB.Code:Last login: Wed Mar 5 08:29:26 on ttyp1 Welcome to Darwin!
