    Default Best Ultra-Portable to Hackintosh

I am tired of waiting for Apple to ship an UltraPortable MacBook, it always seems like its around the corner, just a little more time.. Well, time to act!

Can you guys recommend the best UltraPortable out there that one can buy and fully Hackintosh relatively easily? (ex. Sony Vaio TZ or SZ, Toshiba Portage 500, Lenovo X61, etc)

I've seen OSX86 run very well on the new Sony TZ.. 10GB MAC Partition and 22 GB Vista partition on 32GB Solid State Drive... Only main issues that I saw were drivers for Intel 4965AGN Wireless. It boots very quickly into either OS on the SSD.

I have a Sony TX which also works very well.

Everything working either out of the box or with a little bit of twiddling, except the wireless and the SD card slot. The SD card slot, there IS a driver out there for; I've just not bothered because it's not a big deal for me. The wireless, I've just got myself a Belkin USB wireless dongle which works straight away on Uphuck 10.4.9 r1.4i.

Old thread... but hopefully , gentlemen, our wait will be over very soon
( hopefully) as Macworld '08 is upon us and the Macbook Pro? ultraportable will be released
I really hope what they say is true about it:
    12"
64G Flash and all the other specs

It will be a sweet laptop. I will definitely buy one - I don't care if its a prototype product with later releases that will probably be sweeter ( e.g. More memory ).
I think the Mac brandname will carry sufficient to ensure a good product.

My attempts to install OSX on my Q35 Samsung were successful except for the WLAN not being supported and lets face it , a laptop without WLAN is not very appealing.
Linux ( various distros) has been good to me..but battery life is hammered in Linux no matter the distro it seems.
XP is alright .. I spose... but you know....
I need something new!!Can't wait ! REally hopeful!
Anyone else out there 'in' ?
