I downloaded this too but I think it's dodgy !
I cannot connect to "Software Update" with it and cannot instal the downloaded update package on the firewire disc I have it installed on ?

It works OK but what's the point if it cannot be updated ? Must have something hidden away in there to prevent this.

I have found a sparsed.dmg for install of Leopard. It is only 4.5 Gig and is fairly easy to install. I have had it running now for a couple of weeks updated to 10.5.1 and its great even a little faster than Tiger I think.
The only thing is that you must download Monolingual (google it) and delete all but the Enlish language support from your Tiger system before installing because if you don't the installer takes ages and ages looking through the system for all those language support pieces.
I actually did a restore in disk utility from the disk image to a FireWire partition and use the Firewire partition named Mac OS X Install DVD to install ... much much quicker. Whole process was about 40 minutes from start to finish.
Contact me from here if you would like the torrent link its still alive.
