OSX doesn't ask for a serial upon installation so i guess it wouldn't be a problem...

How do you do that ? Do I need a firewire HDD or will a USB do ?

    Thanks

Use SuperDuper and do a full backup of your drive. Any second HD or a USB external drive will do.

    Hey man,

Well that's for backup, I was more wondering how I can use the second HDD to install Leopard without using the DL DVD.

There will be problems installing this, like on windows? Problems like blacklisted serial or something about that?

As it was said many times before, OSX does not require any serial number or anything like...

Make sure to mount the .dmg file before you burn it, I damaged 2 DVD´s DL trying to get it to boot after restart and they quite expensive where I am at, so I used toast 8.1, click on copy then image file, add the .dmg file and then click Mount and finally Burn... Voila! Let it verify the dvd accuracy afterwards to save you time on the installation later, Works Great for me!!, the whole booting thing from an ipod or a external HD advised around the forums or torrents sites just make the installation longer and tedious.

Sorry...what you want to do is mount the DMG in OS X, pick the partition you want to use, and restore the DMG to that partition through the Disk Utiity.

Not sure at all how to do it in Windows.
