I am guessing you imaged to a drive using a Mac? What software did you use and what it the comparable version in windows-land? I only have an XP machine that is running. How do you do that from XP? or, how do you convert the .dmg to an Iso or img file?

    thanks for any info.

hey windows users, try nero 8. it's suppose to support dmg. report back if it's possible cause i'd like to know also. If not, ultra iso with dmg support will convert dgm to iso. just make sure you have an extra 14gig of extra space on your drive. Or you can download the torrent that's already converted DMG to ISO image. Check demonoid.

I wonder how difficult will be to make a Hack DVD out of this...with the XARed installer packages.
Is said that theres already a hack install DVD on the run... Anyway I would try to patch it by myself...

...Honestly I dont have idea about how the new installer works... I followed the advice to stay away from loepard till the final relase; Im more a user than a dev (Im definitely a user and not a dev), so for me didnt have any sense to be working with betas... now that the GM is out, I'll see what is about.
Anyway, by the time Im finished downloading the original dmg there will probably be already some hack iso around....
as for the SSE2 kernel, I know as much as you...
