Default [Advice] Risks of Installing OSX86 ?

One of my friends asked me to install osx onto his Dell laptop and I am just wondering if there are any risks of damage to the computer.

think its quite funny that atleast 196 people have looked at this and so many people are installing this yet no one knows what damage can be done.

DONT install mac osx leopard like vista/xp... get to know whether your friends laptop's config will work on OSX86 or not.. it may totally screw your MBR and you will have to reformat the whole hardisk to get things working again.

I have already pass through all these things on my desktop. so first get acquainted with the osx86 scene, how things work, other wise you might just end up with a cursor blinking while booting itself, getting the rest of hardware to work is secondary.

You could try to install it to a portable USB Harddrive, i think it doesn't touch your MBR if you do that, i'm not totally sure though... Maybe someone else here know more about that?
I did it a few times (it worked now and then) and my MBR is still the same i believe.
