Hey everyone,

Im new to this forum just recently got OS X working on my PC, i have just one issue though. Every-time i do a software update OS X crashes, is this a known problem and is there a way around it. Any help would be nice since im new to the scene.

First step:

Post detailed configuration of your PC, including all chipset and models.

ok here is the info:

Intel Pentium 4 516 / 2.93 GHz

with 1 GB of RAM DDR II SDRAM

memory speed 400 MHz

chipset is Intel 915GV Express

Data bus speed is 533 MHz

and im running a 128mb NVIDIA pci graphics card.

if i left anything out that you need to know just let me know.

Everything installed great and its a very working system, it just breaks when i do a software update.

Maybe had a incompatibility with Intel 915GV Express

Try use a Leo4All v3 or old ToH RC2.

thanks for all the help, i did download both of the versions you suggested but i found a post some one did that explains how to manually update to 10.5.3 so i went that route.
