    Exclamation 10.5.1 Install Disk Problem

    Hi,

I'm attempted to boot through the Kalyway 10.5.1 DVD but after the loading darwin screen the computer restarts and does this over and over. I can't even get to the gray screen.

Please help me solve this issue so that I can install Leopard.

Also tried using kalyway 10.4.10 same thing happens.

    My Hardware specs are:

    Processor: Pentium D 2.0ghz Dual-Core
    MoBo: AsRock Conroe-d667-1333
    RAM: 1Gb 667 - PQI (2x)
    HD: Seagate 80GB Sata
Videocard: Intel GMA on board but i'm currently using the pci-e with an ATI RADEON X1550PRO 128bit 512MB vram

Hope to hear from you guys soon thanks,

    Strange....
I have the same issue and i have an petium processor.
I used the iAtkos iso and it failed.
    I re-downloaded a differen't iAtkos iso and now i get "couldnt find Library/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.boot.plist"

    Try using iAtkos.

    same here...
    Dell Inspiron 8200
    Pentium sse2

    i used
    KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1 intel_SSE2_SSE3.iso
    iATKOS_v1.0i_R2.iso

can't boot these dvd's i have seen the darwin is loading screen and after maybe 20sec reboot.. (btw the iaktos loads to the grey screen with the apple logo)

    i've tried many options like -v -x -f- s nothing really helped...

    i tried the
Mac OS X 10.4.8 [JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3 with PPF1].iso (i spend 2 days for downloading it of the pirate bay with a 26000Mbit line)

i can install it without any switches (-v -x -f- s otherwise i get installation errors)

so the installation is complete but when it's time to reboot i get the black blinking cursor screen... i thought my partition is not active checked everything with

    diskutil list
    fdisk -e /dev/rdisk0 (disk0 iss my HDD)
    p
    f 1 (my partition)
    write
    y
    exit

but the same thing black screen blinking cursor.... any ideas ?

thx in advance and greetz from germany

p.s. i hope somebody understand what i mean... it would be much easier for me to write in german :O)

    I already got it working!

what they said was true, I downgraded the bio version to 1.30 then the installers worked.

I used kalyway 10.5.1 and the OS works perfectly....

the procedure depends on what type of board you have because some manufacturer have specific flashers for their boards a good example would be Asrock uses AMflsher while ASUS uses ezflash.... Try looking in the OEMs website they should have procedures. better if they have a windows based flasher to make your life easier.
