Default 10.4.9 Uphuck install on AMD X2 cpu problem?

    Hello,

Yust installed the 10.4.9 Uphuck 1.3 dvd on my AMD4000X2 system, all went fine (a bit sloppy feeling in the installation but probebly due to working from ramdisk)
I installed 10.4.9-AMD and AMD-SSE3 kernel and disabled intel cpustep and throttling.
When booting osX with -v the system hangs the moment it trys to enable cpu0 without warning or messages.
I tryed plain boot and with
    -x platform=ACPI|X86PC
    all with the same result.
    Did I do something wrong?

    Hi,

I have the same problem with Athlon 64 X2 Brisbane core processor and Asus M2N-MX mobo.

So if there is solution id be glad to hear it, but i basicly know what causes it already in my case at least, its the mobo.. real peace of work and im planning to replace it with something else ASAP.

    Cheers.
