Is there good Telnet client app?

I'm looking for a good telnet client app to manage some basic unix server administration. Are there any out there?

I am using the app Network Ping lite from Mochasoft, it's free.

In all the excitement, I forgot that I need some way connecting via VPN to private network first. I wonder if that is possible through iPhone?

Yes and no depending on the VPN infrastructure you are using. Please check here:

If you can tunnel into your network, you'll be able using Ping
