    Default Problem with apps transfering

    Hi All,

Ok, after getting a ipa file, the file comes as i.e. alarm.ipa.zip file, and if I extract i get 2 files, payload and artwork. Now I tried and tried to transfer to itunes, but it doesn't show on my apps. I believe the file suppose to be apple device application, but if I open the zip file with itunes it turns into itunes music player file. Could someone help? Maybe is someone really easy that I just can't get.

    Thanks

When you unzip you should end up with alarm.ipa folder you should be left with just an Alarm.ipa folder. If you get just payload and artwork folders then create a new folder and make sure it is called alarm.ipa then drag payload and artwork folders into it. If they have done the wrong thing an __MACOSX folder, you can ignore this __MACOSX folder if it appears.

You should have also been sent a something.mobileprovision file, this is the key for syncing the app to your device.

    1. open up iTunes.
    2. Do a File -> Import and then import the .mobileprovision file.
    3. You can then go go the applications screen in iTunes, and drag and drop the .app folder onto iTunes and sync the app
