    Default Automatic MobileInstallation Patch (2.0-2.2)

This is a binary patch for MobileInstallation. After installation of this package, you can use build & go your Xcode project using the Xcode Template

The patch (version 2.1) will first back up your MobileInstallation to MobileInstallation.bak then patch it and fakesign it based on the iPhone firmware version. Currently it supports 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2/2.1/2.2

You will have to install the package called "Link Identity Editor" before this package

I have tested it to build & go in Xcode for iPhone (2G) firmware 2.0.1/2.0.2/2.1/2.2

    To install this package
    (1) Add source in Cydia (if you have not yet done so), pls remember there is a slash (/) at the end of the url
    Code:
    http://www.iphone.org.hk/apt/
    (2) Install MobileInstallation Patch version 2.1 in Section "Tweaks"

    (3) This package supports uninstallation.

Does this patch contain any apple binary or is it actually a real patcher? If it is jsut a ptcher, there is no problem, if it contains the binaries its illegal and will be removed. As I am unsure myself, user won't get a infraction for posting it. Someone can clear me up, I am to lazy to install it and test.

    BE CAREFUL...
I just add the source, cydia tried to update the source, it failed. After that, Cydia failed to run again, it kept bouncing back to springboard probably due to a file corruption somewhere.

F***ck... now I have to fix Cydia via ssh.
BTW, this is on a fresh 2.0.2 iphone install

Thanks for the warning. I was about to try it out. I'll wait, I think

FWIW, I'm speculating it's NOT a patcher but actually a different MobileInstallation file. The script probably does the backup of the original and put in the new file.

Just backing up my MobileInstallation.framework folder and run the program

It replaces the MobileInstallation executable from MobileInstallation.framework, and from what I can see without doing any backup for uninstall.

So it's a binary replacement and not actual patching of existing binary. Hence the link above is not good

BTW, i think i know why I got error when adding the source. I forgot to put in the / (slash) at the end.

this patch works. I created it and am using it.

This patch will first backup the binary and replace it with patched binary (which I patched it in my iPhone) based on the firmware version. Currently it supports 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2

If I patch the binary in your iPhone, you need ldid to recalculate the hatch, so I put the patched binary in the package instead.

you guys have forgot to put in the / (slash) at the end in the source url and cydia will fail to get the package list.

Touch Dial is an easy-to-use application for one touch dial / sms icon on the home screen for iPhone.

This app can read the accelerometer and do phone dial or SMS dial for the same number based on the your setting for Portrait or Landscape Mode of iPhone.
