    Hello Javacom,
    Thanks for the explanation.
Post #1 used to have the link for the cydia source. That has been removed because that's against the forum policy (policy protects everyone). We cannot post link containing modified apple binary. If the download contains routine to modify existing binary then that would be ok.

I hope you understand. You're doing good work but the method of distribution has to done correctly (for example, pwnage tool app). Nothing against you at all..

OK. I will change the package and do the binary patch in iPhone instead of providing the pre-patched binary.

I don't mind if you remove the link from this forum as I did not post it here in the first place.

Touch Dial is an easy-to-use application for one touch dial / sms icon on the home screen for iPhone.

This app can read the accelerometer and do phone dial or SMS dial for the same number based on the your setting for Portrait or Landscape Mode of iPhone.

    Default MobileInstallation Patch version 2.2.1

This MobileInstallation Patch is now updated to support firmware 2.2.1 as well. It supports iPhone firmware 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2/2.1/2.2/2.2.1

This is a binary patch for MobileInstallation. After installation of this package, you can use build & go your Xcode project using the Xcode Template

The patch (version 2.2.1) will first back up your MobileInstallation to MobileInstallation.bak then patch it and fakesign it based on the iPhone firmware version. Currently it supports 2.0/2.0.1/2.0.2/2.1/2.2/2.2.1

A package called "Link Identity Editor" will be installed before this package

I have tested it to build & go in Xcode for iPhone (2G) firmware 2.1/2.2

    To install this package
    (1) Add source in Cydia (if you have not yet done so), pls remember there is a slash (/) at the end of the url
    Code:
    http://www.iphone.org.hk/apt/
    (2) Install MobileInstallation Patch version 2.2.1 in Section "Tweaks"

    (3) This package supports uninstallation.

The method of patch was first created by a developer from the community and used it for the Xcode program build and debug. But, the same patch was later diverted to other usages which I would not support.

Make sure you put the / (slash) at the end of the source address.

If you have trouble in launching Cydia agin
    you can
    delete this file in iPhone
    Code:
    /etc/apt/sources.list.d/cydia.list
and launch Cydia again and input the source address again, make sure that there is a slah (/) at the end of the url

    Code:
    http://www.iphone.org.hk/apt/

For example, the firmware 2.0.2 (iPhone 2G)
    md5sum before patch is
    Code:
    5cbc4217f941ae503e0c15d2109d7547 MobileInstallation
    after patch is
    Code:
    md5sum MobileInstallation
    a627a9a4503d5d341efe3bcd55b313fe MobileInstallation
Are the MD5 hashes universal for the 2.0.2 firmware 2g model?

I installed the patch. (It does the patching silently once its installed right?) After that I got 2 files with different MD5's

    Mobileinstallation : 3E144F546071CD65C134FDAC202C9D4B
    Mobileinstallation.bak : 5CBC4217F941AE503E0C15D2109D7547
