    Default [Appstore Review System] Sucks.....

You can leave any review you want, and so can all the wannabes and developers that are afraid to speak the truth. And then ya get all the pansy's that are upset that you critiqued a game or whatever and vote "no" for whether the review was helpful or not.

Then you write a good review and and compare it to another app and the "other" app dev votes "no" to whether or not it was helpful.

Some of the crap being spewed out in the reviews is fully brutal. "Yes it's so awesome", "Best app ever", "This app sucks"...

I know it's the same system used by almost everyone, just never notice the full out BS before, holy man... all BS and don't know what to believe. In a system where there are very few demo's the reviews are all we have.

Rant over, back to work people.

i wish apple would come out with a 7day trial version of every paid app, after 7days itunes will ask u to purchase and if u select no then the app gets deleted or something

alot of people have bought expencive apps and are upset with it or really hate it after playing it for a day or 2

Yep, that would be the best. Some of the Lite versions are good and some are limited. Considering the amount of traffic and the lack of effort required on the devs part, time limited trials should be painless. Some of the pgms on the store are very buggy, unpolished and difficult to use. Some are top notch. But some even from the big devs like EA are buggy and not worth getting. I'm not into spending $9.99 and eagerly waiting for an update that may never come. Take Scrabble for example. It's good but needs some help. It hasn't seen an update since the first week of July. I don't think it's coming either.

There is so much potential to make a great system but it seems as though Apple has stopped short.

I think the current system is fueling the "other way" to get apps.
