i have a problem connecting to the iTunes store from my iphone.

i got back from work yesterday and wanted to buy a track, so tapped on iTunes on the phone and 'Cannot connect to iTunes Store' appeared :-(

i initially thought it was an issue following an *upgrade to 2.1 from 1.1.2 and then downgrading to 1.1.4* so i posted this issue there, however i now think it's nothing to do with that ...

firstly, i could have sworn that i checked iTunes as well as YouTube etc etc following these updates the other day and everything was working.

secondly, my girlfriend has an iphone - exactly the same as mine, only still on 1.1.2; has been working for months. i tap on her iTunes this morning and guess what - same message!! WTF!?!

i found that with both phones, if i set the date back by a day then it works, so again WTF?

could someone do me a favor and see if they have issues?

anyone know a better fix? and more to the point anyone know if anything has changed or what's going on?

i could understand if this was happening on my phone that i upgraded/downgraded and i was happy to restore and jailbreak/unlock again to see if the message goes, but with my girlfriends doing exactly the same, i'm just not sure what's going on.

I am having the same trouble with a jailbroken 1.1.4 iPod Touch. The only thing I can say is that I'm glad I'm not the only one.

not to worry - for some reason it is working now on both iphones. must have been something at apple's end as i haven't changed anything on the phones
