I know this thread is kind of old so I can only hope to get an answer to this, but why whenever I try to remove the index 2 partition do I get an error?

Anyone? This is the only part that is making the whole thing not work for me. I tested the boot disk before I changed partition types and it works fine. I'm not sure why I always get this error. I copied the change partition instructions directly and exactly from the first post. Thanks for any help.

That was easy because I´ve downloaded a Mac os X readdy to go image (.dmg)
so I start at the change paritition type step
that was soo good explained!
I´ve done it AND I´M TWELVE!!!!!
My apple Tv boot´s fully in Mac os X Leopard (10.5.8)

I got it to work for me too. I can now
install several hacks without voiding my
