nito tv/weather, XBMC question

hello, only had my atv2 a couple of days and new to jailbreaking, ive installed green posion rc6 which as nito tv on, my question is ive installed the weather channel to display at top of screen but you cannot see it correctly for the big apple icon thats in the way, is there a way to get rid of the apple? or could someone tell me how to uninstall the weather app, ive just turned it off for the moment, also i was going to install XBMC but if i do is there a way to uninstall this if i dont like it, or do i have to just re jb my atv2 agin to wipe stuff off

From the main menu, go Settings > Custom Settings > Main Menu Extensions > Remove Top Shelf > Yes. You may have to go to nitoTV & restart lowtide to the see the change.
