Hello all

I am new to the apple tv and I have recently acquired an apple tv 2 still running 4.2.2 (2203) in its factory state.

I am interested in jailbreaking if that's the proper term but I am unclear on which firmware is the most preferred for functionality, stability, and feature possibilities.

I've tried researching on my own and found that the only issue with updating to the latest firmware and using the seasonpass is an Austrailia specific issue (I am in the US).

But I have also recently read something regarding incompatibility with Remote HD and Overflow due to an author update that is not possible?

In short I am very unclear on the specifics and would appreciate feedback regarding the most desired firmware to run when jailbreaking.
