    Lightbulb Custom remote

    hii,
so i want to use my tv remote with my apple tv2.
however the buttons i want to use are also the arrow buttons used in the menu of my tv.
so when i want to use the menu i also turn on my apple tv2.
so i was wondering if theres a way to make a kind of toggle that would toggle the custom remote on and off when the select or menu button has been pressed for 5 seconds.
so if i were to press select/menu for 5 seconds all buttons except select/menu would be disabled and i could use my menu and then hold menu/select again for 5 seconds and i could use those buttons again.
it would be awesome cause other then the menu the remote buttons are unused and eprfect for the apple tv2.

There is not yet a way to do what you want via mod/hack. Your best option is to try to reverse engineer it yourself as the jailbreak scene for the ATV2 is still quite small. This is why we have been suggesting other solutions.
